MATH 1395: Precalculus

Enter eight interactive modules built around authentic student thinking. In each module, you will visit Pinehaven schools, select a student, review the student’s work, and ask questions that reveal how the student reasoned.

The simulation gives you evidence. You will identify the misconception, correct the mathematics, and plan your instructional response outside the simulation.

How each module works

    Travel to the elementary, middle, or high school and select one student case.

    Study the evidence

    Review the original problem, written work, visual model, and the student’s initial explanation.

    Ask and listen

    Select neutral questions and use the student’s responses as evidence for your separate analysis.
